Reminders:
PE kits: Children are required to wear their PE kits all day. Van Gogh and Matisse have PE on a Tuesday and Hepworth is on a Wednesday.
Water bottles: Please make sure your child has a water bottle in school every day.
Home Learning
Maths: We have started using Numbots and TimesTables Rockstairs. The children will have been sent a log in as well as have one stuck in their reading record. Once a week the children will receive certificates based on their levels and their progress. It is a great way to build your child's fluency in maths.
Reading: The children should come home with a phonics book that relates to their phonics group and a library book. Please read to and with your child daily. It is recommended that the phonics books be read three times a week for fluency.

Reading is a great way to improve learning progress in all curriculum areas. We understand it is often difficult for parents and carers to decide which books to buy for their children. The link above will take you to the Books for Topics Recommended Reads page.
