School Curriculum
Our curriculum is planned so that content is covered over a rolling cycle - linked to themes. As well as the national curriculum; we emphasise the need for children to become effective citizens; be aware of the wider world and encourage creativity through the arts and sport. Our curriculum is assessed using summative and formative methods which assess the pupils' ability to demonstrate deeper learning (an ability to analyse, synthesise and evaluate knowledge as opposed to merely applying or comprehending principles).
