Eco Council

Last academic year, our school is proud to announce that we have achieved the Eco-Schools Green Flag Accreditation for 2024–2025.

This award recognises the hard work and commitment of our pupils and staff in promoting sustainability and environmental awareness throughout our school community. However, our journey doesn’t stop here. This year, we aim to go even further — continuing to strengthen our eco initiatives, reduce our environmental impact, and inspire others to do the same.

With the world already experiencing the effects of climate change, the loss of species, and the spread of microplastics to even the most remote parts of the planet, we believe it is vital to educate future generations about the importance of caring for our shared home. The Eco-Schools programme provides a simple seven-step framework that helps raise awareness of environmental issues and empowers young people to take the lead in making a positive difference — both within our school and across the wider community.
