Pay for School Meals
The school provide parents with the ability to pay for school meals online. This means you can pay whenever it is convenient for you, without having to find the exact change, or having to send a cheque into school.
Bassingbourn Primary School uses the Bromcom Management Information System (MIS) and parents are asked to pay for their children’s school dinners using Bromcom's My Child at School (MCAS) website. Please note: Parents need to obtain their username and password from the school office before logging in to the MCAS website. The school ID is 11710.
Edwards & Blake are delighted to be providing the catering services at your school! We are excited to present to you our new menu which has been designed to deliver a real taste adventure to the school, offering a range and style of food to reflect your individual school needs and preferences. Our aim is to provide pupils with an exceptional catering experience and to exceed your expectations whilst maintaining our high standards. Our kitchens have a hard working and skilled set of staff to ensure that all of the products for sale are made fresh each day using seasonal ingredients and sourced as locally as possible. All pupils in reception, year 1 and year 2 are entitled to a free school meal everyday. This means they can have either a main meal or vegetarian meal followed by dessert.
If your child has a specific dietary need for a medical reason, we will work with you to create a menu to meet the needs of your child. We have a Medical Diet Procedure to follow, to ensure your child can safely eat with us. If you would like your child to have a school meal we would need to see a medical certificate from your child's consultant. We can then proceed with creating a suitable menu. Please ask your school for the Medical Diet request Form.
Once you have completed it please return to the school along with the Medical evidence, please ensure all details are correct and it has been signed. This will then be passed onto the Edwards & Blake team who will then create a safe menu for your child and implement as soon as possible.
